After much procrastination, I’ve finally put my HD camcorder ( image still a bit blurry though) and very amateur editing skills into use. In the second episode of Jenny’s China, we look at the triumph, excitement, competition, and hassle that make up the full Olympic experience.

loved your interview with the qinghai folks. have to watch it a second, third or fourth time to get every word they said. i need to improve my mandarin listening skills.
as usual any video that includes amber gets an extra star! if the highest rating is five stars for this video, i give it a six.

Nice video. I’ve been so excited for the Olympics! 我爱奥运会!
While watching the broadcasts here in the States I found I could understand some of the announcements in Chinese before they were translated into English. I was also really impressed and proud for China with the opening ceremony. It was simply amazing. Now I really miss living in China.

I just read that there are many empty seats at many venues and volunteers are let in to cheer for the events. You and the rest of Chinese cpod staff can still go to Beijing and watch the Olympics in person. I’m sure filling in the seats take a precedence over the security precautions over there. After all, why won’t the security folks let you and the nice cpod Chinese staff enter?

very informative, I didn’t about the China-San Marino treaty
my colleague was so fortunate he got tickets for the olympic games- basketball and water polo!

I didn’t even know there was a country called San Marino until Marco’s story.
It’s absolutely an amazing 2 weeks. Can’t believe it’s coming to an end this weekend. But it’s this fleeting but lasting memory that’s so compelling.
